Andy, Any idea how long you think it is going to last? It's a bit beyond reasonable driving distance from Richmond, so I'm trying to book a cheap flight up and back the same day. Thanks, Glenn

hey Glenn It's from 1pm until 5pm at the abbey and I was thinking of may be having an after party at my place if enough people were interested in Hanging out a little longer? If you do dicide to fly up let me know I could always pick you up at the airport. Also if you were coming up alone you may be able to get a ride from John & Sue if they have room and I believe AJ was planing on making the trip So put the word out, someone maybe coming up from your neck of the woods

Andy - Thanks for the quick reply. I'm probably going to be coming solo, and using some frequent flyer miles to book a flight. Lots of airport options within an hours drive from Ramsey, NJ so that is helpful.

The naughty boy with no points would be interested in attending the after party. It’s a little far but I think I can make it.

All booked. Was able to book tickets and a car using FF and Hertz points, so at least Alison won't put the trip to the banquet as a racing expense into Quicken. Alison just showed me my total expeditures for last year in Quicken for racing. Wow, that was shocking. Surely, McDonald's on the way to the track should be categorized as household food, and not racing. Somehow, I think I was going to eat lunch either way Happy New Year (and a fresh start on the annual race budget)! Glenn

Glen: Year one is always the most expensive, there are dozens of things you needed and will use in the future. Unless you decide to make whoelsale changes for the future you annual cost broken into race weekends can be lower your second year and beyond. It is hard to beat the $1 items at Mcdonalds, but a loaf of store brand bread and a half pound of ham goes a long way. Bill

Bill, You are right this year will be less than last, thank goodness. Still trying to decide how many races etc. I'm going to run. I'm not going to do much in the way of car improvements this winter except where it makes sense, like cleaning / painting the frame now that is torn apart to replace the belly pan. While the engine could use a freshen, we all know HP isn't my racing issue I am trying to work on accumulating a better set of track spares. I'm close to having enough pieces to replace any corner while at the track. Was able to pick-up four cad-plated uprights for $100 each, which I thought was a steal. Other men complain about their wives spending money, and not knowing where it went. I guess I should be thankful that she never spends money, and knows where every penny goes! Glenn

without a doubt it is the Queen! He couldn't afford the washed up mansell, or Stewart, or Moss, and I don't think the new Princess would even give our beloved member a second look so it must be the Queen.

You just check those points again ( Jay thinks he's won) And no it's not the queen, after George Bush winked at her at the Last state dinner she attended, she afraid to come back ( bless her )

Forget the Queen I hope it's Pippi. It would be nice to learn about aerodynamic body shapes.
