SOLD - its in my garage, with a small sturdy trailer outside(rabid junkyard dog chained 2 it). Thank you Greg Lane for keeping her in the club, and everything else. thanks Dad, Jill, Matt, little Matt, and especially Jay Hoogendoorn for all the help and encouragement. I drove the car today, it fits me well, and I expect great things this year, I'm living the dream of racing my Dad, and other friends Greg,Jay, Jack, and all 1600 racers.

Thank you Jay, you played a big part in this. Kitchen in new home is older than the car, but you cant race a kitchen.

Jay if I was married I would guess I would be looking for an oddball plumbing fitting, handy boxes, w gfi recpticals for the kitchen, with 12 wire. I would however like to claim # 32 for my FF1600, as Pete Aaron was a great driver in the movie, with even better lines for the ladies. Please let me know if anyone in the 1600 class has #32, keep in mind that I probably dont quite have the driving-lady skills as Pete, but am often told I have the better hairdo.

There seems to be 18 F/1600 (F/S) racecars ready for the 2012 race season!

80 to 100% - Team Schwegler (Rich Sr & Wally) 1982 Van Diemen - Rick Schwegler Jr, 1974 M.R.E. - Greg Saunders, 2005 Banshee - Jack Donahue, 1982 Van Diemen - Guy Frank, 1999 Banshee - Jay Hoogendoorn, 1985 Reynard - Dan Finnachario, 1981 Crossle - Team Rachuba, (CJ & Chris Rachuba) 2011 Banshee - ANthony Caracappa, 1975 Zink.

20 to  50%   -  Dani Jackson, 1977 Lola - Jeff Zeller, 1974 Lola - Dan Cezar, 1986 Van Diemen - Mark Carberry, 1982 Van Diemen - Ralph Kennedy, 1980 Van Diemen - Mike Kenney, 1978 Crossle - Roberto Hertel, 1994 Ray - Robert McCown, 1982 Van Diemen - John Heckman, 2003 Banshee.    Just how many will show up per race? It sure seems like a competitive season ahead!         Also,  Formula Haus has 2 FRCCA legal Racecars for Sale to FRCCA members only - 1974 Lola and 1982 Reynard; legal for F/1600 (F/S) or F/Tyro.

We'll see.  Car is at Stonebridge (been there a while) getting everything but the engine rebuilt.  When it gets back home, engine comes out and sent away for a rebuild.  Expensive year.

Van Diemen RF81 #10

We belong to the brotherhood of the Hewland gearbox, the rewelded exhaust header, the crowded footwell and the slightly bent upper a-arm.

Rich, Jr check with Sue as she issues the racecar numbers, I do not think 32 is taken; but check with her to be sure.  Jay; as far as Glen Wakefield goes, I do not think Andy graduated him.

AJ - I would prefer you didn't make assumptions on items that pertain to me in a public forum.

There isn't a reason to check with Andy as I am quite sure he signed my competition license at the end of the year banquet. If I wasn't sitting at a rest area somewhere off I95 in SC currently I would be happy to scan and post it.

I trust everyone is having a good off-season.

Bob McCown; Mike Agnifilo will do a good job on your 1981 Van Diemen as he raced a 1981 Van Diemen to a championship here in the FRCCA. At that time he raced against Mike Foschi and Mike Kovacs plus other quick drivers, many of which are still in the sport. As far s the engine goes we here at Formula Haus can do an affordable, legal rebuild for the spec FRCCA club class. Please check with Matt Amos at 610-779-3255. I hope you can make the races this season. Remember "Enzo" barked twice!

Jay; You were correct and Glenn Wakefield is going to race in F/1600. I believe he will be in the 80 to 100% group; therefore 10 entrees of "Die-hards" then add in a few of the drivers on a limited schedule and perhaps we will see a field of 12 to 15 racecars; I hope so and will be looking forward to it taking pace.

The armchair racing season is hard on it it seems.  Yes Glenn did in fact earn his comp lic.  he kept his car on track and was consistent in traffic.  He is a good concerned driver and adds a lot to the club, welcome to the seniors Glenn.

I never count who is where because it is not a true indicator of how the season is going to progress.  If everyone possible showed up we would have our own race dates and no worries.  Unfortunately within today's economy there is no garuntee (yes I know it is mis spelled) each season dictates the next in other words we are not selfsufficient nor are we stable.  Al I can say is if you can get out and race you need to do it especially this year.  There is a lot depending on it.
